Francophones and bilingual immigration candidates will now receive additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points under the Express Entry system, immigration minister Marco Mendicino announced today.

Nova Scotia invited immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residence, but did not disclose how many invitations were issued. The candidates were invited through the Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities Stream.
